How it works

At Stepping Stone Therapy, I take a personalised, client-centred approach, placing the young person at the heart of the work. I collaborate closely with clients and schools to develop tailored support plans that reflect each persons unique needs, circumstances, and goals. My focus is on supporting children, young people and adults to overcome challenges, build self-esteem, and enhance their emotional well-being. I offer both short- and long-term therapy, as well as bespoke packages designed specifically for schools. I work within a therapy building in Whitley Bay that is a short walk from the metro station, and has lots of parking near by.
Our work begins with an initial assessment session, where I gather relevant information about the child’s background, educational experiences, current support systems, and hopes for therapy. This first meeting also gives us the opportunity to get to know one another and decide whether we’re the right fit, something I believe is essential for a successful therapeutic journey!

I also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation ahead of the assessment, giving you the chance to ask questions, learn more about the process, and explore whether Stepping Stone Therapy is right for you or your family.
